Short answer: Open the official DELSU Certificate Status Portal. Choose your graduation year and select “CHECK YEAR”. Then verify your surname or matriculation number. If your record does not appear, use “Application for Omission” or “Support”. We checked the portal and DELSU's notice on 24 October 2026.
Check this first: the official address is
certmgt.delsu.edu.ng. DelsuTools never asks for your password or takes certificate payments. Pay only through the process shown on the official portal.
Have your surname, matric number and graduation year ready. Use a private device if you can. Do not share any payment page.
The DELSU certificate portal and the steps
The portal covers DELSU's NCE, Diploma and Degree graduates. DELSU's official news page links to the same portal.
- Open certmgt.delsu.edu.ng.
- Select your graduation year.
- Tap “CHECK YEAR”.
- Enter your surname or matriculation number if the portal finds records for that year.
- Select “VERIFY SURNAME/MATRICULATION NUMBER”.
- If more than one record appears, check the details and select your own record.
- Follow the page the portal shows for your certificate status.
Take your time. Check each field before you move on.
The last page depends on your payment and issue status. Read it before taking another action.
For student login, fees and results, use the DELSU portal guide. The student portal is separate from this certificate page.
What each certificate status means
| Portal result or route | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Attestation | The bulletin says this appears when payment has not been made. | Read the portal before paying. DelsuTools does not quote an amount because DELSU has not published one on the official pages checked. |
| Certification status | Payment is recorded and the certificate is being processed. | Track the status on the portal. Use “Validate” or “Support” if your payment is successful but the displayed status looks wrong. |
| Certification details | DELSU records the certificate as issued. | Follow the collection or delivery details shown for your record. |
| Application for Omission | This is the portal route for a record that should be present but is missing. | Open the omission option and provide only the information the official page requests. Use “Support” if you cannot complete it. |
If several names appear, choose the entry that matches your details. Never continue with another person's record.
If your record does not show
Your surname or matriculation number is not found
Check the graduation year first. Re-enter the surname or matric number. Remove any added spaces. Try the other search detail if you have it.
If the correct details still return no record, use “Application for Omission” on the portal. DELSU has not published a separate turnaround time for an omission request.
More than one record appears
Compare the records shown and select the one that belongs to you. Do not continue with a similar name or a matriculation number that is not yours.
You paid, but the status has not changed
The portal has a “Validate” option for a successful payment. Use it before assuming you must pay again. If the result is still wrong, select “Support” on the homepage.
Keep the payment record already available to you. The primary sources do not list documents for this problem. Follow the fields shown by DELSU's support route.
The portal page does not load
A failed page load does not mean DELSU has closed the service. Check that the address ends in delsu.edu.ng. Try the official link again later. Use DELSU's news page to check for an announced change.
Fees, documents and delivery
DELSU has not published the fee, courier cost, document list or turnaround time in the official sources checked. Iris question Q-20261023-4 still needs a confirmed answer from the DelsuTools ground team. We will not fill these gaps with estimates.
Use the amount shown for your record on the official portal. Follow its fields and upload requests. If the page does not show what you need, use “Support”. Ignore amounts and document lists from unofficial pages.
The DELSU bulletin says courier and shipping services are available. It also says the university will not honour collection by proxy. Another person cannot collect the certificate for you under this process. The bulletin does not give the courier charge or delivery time.
