- Who can apply
- Must be a bona fide indigene of Delta State enrolled as a regular full-time student in DELSU (Year 1 to final year). Minimum CGPA in good academic standing (2.00+). Dual or sandwich programme students are not eligible.

- Full-time Year 2 (200 Level) DELSU students with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.50 on the 5-point scale. No current beneficiaries of other oil & gas JV awards are permitted.

- Open to Year 2 and Year 3 DELSU students in STEM faculties (Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering) who maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.50 (Second Class Upper). Blind students in any discipline require minimum 2.50 CGPA.

- DELSU graduates with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) in a relevant first degree, or Second Class Lower (2:2) with significant industry or research experience. Must have completed NYSC or possess an official Exemption Certificate. Valid National Identity Number (NIN).

- Who can apply
- DELSU graduates with an undergraduate degree equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree. At least two years (equivalent to 2,800 hours) of work experience (internships, volunteering, and NYSC qualify). Commitment to return to Nigeria for a minimum of two years post-study.

- For Postgraduate: DELSU graduates with First Class or 2:1 honours degree in relevant disciplines. Age limit: Under 35 for Masters, under 40 for PhD. For Undergraduate: Minimum of 5 distinctions (As & Bs) in WAEC/NECO.
