1. The DelsuTools Story: From GPA Calculator to Student Hub

DelsuTools began as an independent student-led software development project in the middle of 2023. At the time, we noticed a recurring challenge on the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka campus: students frequently miscalculated their semester Grade Point Average (GPA) or final Cumulative GPA (CGPA) targets. The manual calculations required to combine credit loads with grade points led to simple arithmetic errors, which sometimes resulted in students unexpectedly falling into academic probation or missing graduation class targets.

Determined to find a tech-driven solution, we built a simple, mobile-friendly GPA calculator tailored precisely to the DELSU 5.0 grading scale. The response was immediate. Within the first semester, thousands of undergraduates on the Abraka, Oleh, and Oghara campuses used the tool to plan their semester grades.

Recognizing that academic computation was only one part of the student journey, we expanded the platform. Today, DelsuTools.ng is a comprehensive student resources portal. We build custom planners (Budget Planners, SIWES checkers, O'level check engines) and publish extensive, human-written guides that translate complex administrative procedures into simple checklists. We serve as a trusted guide for DELSU aspirants, freshers, and final year students.

3. Our Rigorous Editorial Process

At DelsuTools, we are highly committed to Google's E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) quality guidelines. Because academic decisions have direct impacts on a student's graduation timelines and financial expenditures, we treat our content with extreme care. We enforce a strict multi-tier review process for every guide published:

  • Direct Fact-Checking: We check all guidelines (such as screening checklists or fee structures) against official notice boards on the Abraka campus and the university registrar releases.
  • No Boilerplate or Duplicate Content: We reject repetitive summaries. Every article must provide original context, step-by-step screenshots or instructions, and answer highly specific student questions.
  • Ongoing Revisions: University guidelines change. We regularly update our articles at the beginning of each semester to reflect modifications in departmental cutoffs, acceptance fees, and portal links.
  • Zero AI-Generated Content Policy: We do not publish automated AI drafts that offer generic advice. All guides are written and reviewed by experienced editors who understand the local context of Delta State.

4. Transparency & Contact Information

DelsuTools maintains an open-door communication policy. If you have questions about a payment, want to report a broken link, or have suggestions for new calculators, you can reach our administrative desk through the details below:
