Does DELSU Accept NECO Results For Admission? See Answer

Are you an aspirant of Delta State University wondering if your NECO result will be accepted for admission? The simple answer is yes; DELSU accepts NECO results for admission. The National Examinations Council (NECO) is one of the approved examination bodies in Nigeria because they meet the standard academic requirements for admission into higher institutions.

I'll give you a quick guide about the requirements to use your NECO result for admission into DELSU below:

1. You must meet the minimum admission requirements of having at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
2. Your results must be authentic and collected from the school where you registered for the examination. This is important because DELSU will confirm your results during the screening process.
3. In addition to uploading your NECO results during post-UTME registration, you must meet or exceed the JAMB cut-off mark set by DELSU for your desired course before applying.
4. Ensure your NECO result is printed and available, alongside other required documents for the screening process.
5. Make sure that you also know that NECO GCE is also accepted as long as it meets the minimum admission requirements, and DELSU accepts awaiting results too. However, you must upload your NECO result before the screening or admission deadline to avoid losing your admission.
